Canutillo, Texas - The members of LA BARCA are not limiting themselves to church congregations. "We're taking our message everywhere, especially to non-Christians and non-church goers", said Alfonso Escareño, lead vocalist and keyboard player.
One good example, is the song, "Joseito". The theme is based in a true story that happened in Monterrey, Mexico. A child, who was innocently playing in his backyard, was stabbed to death by a heinous, prison fugitive. The child's grieving father, ironically, visted the murder in jail and forgave him.
