El Paso, Texas - MP3 was the first internet music distributor to work out royalty agree-ments with the major record labels, the RIAA and performance associations like BMI and ASCAP. They have license agreements with Rolling Stone, E-Music and other status-quo music services who are shaping the music business of the future. More important, they are a cyber umbrella to independent record labels by providing user-friendly internet tools.
