14 year old Eliza Leon is inspired by gramma's Linda Ronstad CD
San Elizario, Texas, USA - 14 year-old, Eliza Leon released her first cd for the BRL Music record label. "No mas un pasa tiempo" is the first single and title cut.
This young ranchero singer was first introduced to mariachi music at the infant age of four. "When I was four years old, I was very curious, I would get into everything and ask a lot of questions. To keep me out of trouble, my grandmother would sit me on a table in the ironing room while she ironed and listened to Linda Ronstad's "Caciones de mi padre". Well, I had nothing better to do, but to fall in love with ranchero music", she said.
When she learned the melodies and lyrics she began performing for her family and nothing is stopping her. She also plays violin, flute, guitar, keyboards and takes vocal lessons. Read more. |
